Work with us
We have nearly 100 employees at Devon Nurseries, approximately a third of which have been with us for at least 5 years.
Many of our staff have worked across the company in our different nurseries so our teams are very connected with one another. As a group we get together in different ways throughout the year and our nursery staff teams are always happy to support one another as one big happy group.
Devon Nurseries offers you the opportunity to work in any one of our nurseries, ABC, Acorns, Discovery and Tic Tocs so that there are always opportunities for our staff to advance in their careers. If you visit our nursery pages, you will see how many of the nursery management have worked their way up across the company.

Level 2 Apprentice to Room Leader
“My experience as an apprentice has gone really well. After I finished school, I began my level 2 qualification. I had lots of support from Amy throughout and she really helped me to gain the knowledge I needed. After I had got my level 2 qualification, I started my level 3. There was times I found it very tough and overwhelming as it was a lot of work to keep up with but I am so glad to say I am now level 3 qualified! This has allowed me to take on the job of being a room leader with Devon Nurseries and progress in my career. I have gained lots of skills and knowledge whilst being an apprentice, such as being able to learn how to support children’s development and early education and also how to give them the best possible start.”
