About Tic Tocs Nursery
Tic Tocs Nursery, on Haldon Road, was opened in 1996 and was the first nursery acquired by our group in 2006. It has 3 main large rooms for children, a kitchen and a garden.
Tic Tocs Nursery is located close to Exeter College and Exeter University in the city centre and welcomes children from all over the world. Tic Tocs Nursery has a long standing reputation for offering inclusive and culturally diverse education.
The nursery is open from 7:45am – 6pm Monday to Friday, and welcomes children aged between 3 months – 5 years.

Tic Tocs Nursery has a dedicated staff team who want to provide the children of Exeter with the best possible start in life.
We are lucky to have an Arabic speaking member of staff who is able to provide translation for Arabic speaking families.
The manager of the nursery, Jessica or her deputy, Maxine, will be more than happy to show you around and tell you all about the quality education and care they provide.

L6 Early Years Qualification
Jessica joined Tic Tocs as the deputy manager in January 2022 and took on the manager role in December 2023. She leads the Tic Tocs team to provide high quality child care and education.
Jessica is passionate about early years education. She supports the Tic Tocs team to provide high quality child care and education.
Maxine
Tic Tocs Deputy Manager
L4 Early Years Qualification
Maxine started at Acorns in 2004 and has worked in a management role at Tic Tocs since 2015.
Maxine is passionate about offering inclusive education for children from all backgrounds.
Maxine has a daughter of her own who attended Acorns.
Our Teams
The 3 rooms at Tic Tocs are all led by experienced staff and we ensure that each team has at least the required amount of qualified staff expected by Ofsted.
We also employ a nursery cook who provides balanced and nutritious daily meals all cooked from fresh produce.
We do not serve pork on our menu at Tic Tocs.
We support our staff in their training and development to enable them to provide quality education and care at Tic Tocs Nursery.
