One of our Devon nurseries, Discovery Nursery, recently had a big birthday – to mark the occasion we celebrated with activities, games and, of course, cake!

10 Years of Providing Childcare in Exeter

The fantastic nursery team at Discovery have been doing what they do best – providing dedicated childcare and education in Exeter – for 10 years now. To celebrate, we had two parties in the nursery for our children and parents.

We had a couple of exciting activities set up around the nursery for everyone to take part in. The children and families enjoyed ‘It’s Not a Box’ in the main garden – the rockets and water sprays were a big hit! In the Forest School, we had a water xylophone, natural weaving and sand art.

Inside we decorated biscuits, had a loose parts big build and joined together to create some 10th birthday masterpieces to hang from the Discovery walls. In the Retreat we had a baby sensory disco with lights and bubbles.

But, of course, the main highlight for children and grown ups alike was the cake room! Inspired by Winnie the Witch, we celebrated with cakes of all styles and flavours.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate – the children, parents and staff that attended all had a fantastic time, and even the weather didn’t dampen our fun.
